Dan Hahn is an middle school principal, educator, Oklahoman, and hip hop artist in Tulsa, Oklahoma under the stage name Algebra.  In this episode he shares how life led him towards teaching and mentoring students,  listening to his students, and re-framing the institution our students learn and grow in.   We talk about the 180 degree transformation we saw in Dan of old and adult Dan, the importance of paying and educating our teaching force, and erasing the fence in front of student success regardless of identity intersection.
